About the Project
As an interior designer, after winning an open public procurement, from the first sketches to the turnkey implementation, following the concept and construction plans, I was able to manage the renewal of the museum's 50th-anniversary exhibition and event space.
Our goal was to create a modern, multifunctional space that pays respect to the past but visually responds to the expectations of today. The contrast of the dynamic orange and elegant gray wall surfaces was made special with subtle, hidden LED lighting, custom line-art map graphics, as well as floating information panels and a transparent timeline.
The realization of the clean design was true teamwork. The support of the Hungarian Public Roads team in Kiskőrös was essential to the success of the project: the design process was accompanied throughout by the creative ideas and graphics of Anita Kiss, as well as the guidance and active help of András Szászi, chairman of the board of trustees, and Gabriella Kaposi.
