Hungarian Public Roads – Kiskőrös Road History Museum: 50th Anniversary Space

Hungarian Public Roads – Kiskőrös Road History Museum: 50th Anniversary Space

As an interior designer, after winning an open public procurement, from the first sketches to the turnkey implementation, following the concept and construction plans, I was able to manage the renewal of the museum's 50th-anniversary exhibition and event space. Our goal was to create a modern, multifunctional space that pays respect to the past but visually responds to the expectations of today. The contrast of the dynamic orange and elegant gray wall surfaces was made special with subtle, hidden LED lighting, custom line-art map graphics, as well as floating information panels and a transparent timeline. The realization of the clean design was true teamwork. The support of the Hungarian Public Roads team in Kiskőrös was essential to the success of the project: the design process was accompanied throughout by the creative ideas and graphics of Anita Kiss, as well as the guidance and active help of András Szászi, chairman of the board of trustees, and Gabriella Kaposi.

Tabitha Children's Hospice – The House of Life

Tabitha Children's Hospice – The House of Life

The interior design of the Tabitha House, Hungary's only children's hospice institution, was one of the greatest and deepest professional challenges of my career. As an interior designer, I had to envision an environment that provides terminally ill children and their families with free, loving, and maximal support during the most difficult period of their lives. During the design process, the main goal was to completely eliminate the traditional, clinical hospital atmosphere from the spaces. The shapes, warm lights, and use of materials all serve the purpose of allowing families carrying heavy burdens to feel in a soothing, homey, and safe cocoon. The Tabitha House is indeed the house of life. A special space where the last moments spent together are the most important; where every child can say goodbye with dignity and in peace, while parents and siblings can find comfort in a loving, maximally caring environment. Translating this invisible yet all-pervading embrace into the physical space was the true mission of the project.

Shred-X Fitness

Shred-X Fitness

Interior Designer: Péter László The Shred-X Fitness center is the result of an exceptional architectural and interior design collaboration that completely redefines the concept of rural gyms. While architect István Aczél and Architect Line Stúdió Kft. were responsible for the clean, modern architectural forms and the building design, my role as an interior designer was to create the visual atmosphere and dynamics of the space. During the project, alongside the custom wall panels and stylish decorative elements that enhance the premium feel, a major focus was placed on the modern, technocratic lighting technology. By designing this, we created an exclusive fitness center that not only provides the highest level of sports experience but also visually inspires with its industrial and futuristic elements.
